Wake Up Lucid is a rock’n’roll band from Los Angeles, California. The band consists of a trio of cousins, Ryan Baca (vocals, guitar), Ian Baca (bass), and Jamie Baca (drums), who first started jamming together with their fathers--who introduced them to classic rock acts like Led Zeppelin and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young--while growing up in the desert down of Apple Valley, California. Prior to coming together as Wake Up Lucid, Ryan was playing in a two-piece band in South Lake Tahoe, California. He moved back down south, and reconnected with Ian. The two cousins found a drummer, but kicked him out two days before a show and brought in Jamie instead. In 2010, the three cousins released their debut EP Look Alive People, followed by the Sugar EP in 2011. Feel It, released in 2012, is Wake Up Lucid’s debut album.
